ADOPT-A-HOLE
& VOLUNTEER PROJECTS

DO YOU LIVE ON OR AROUND RIVER’S EDGE GOLF COURSE AND ARE LOOKING FOR A WAY TO VOLUNTEER AND ENJOY A SENSE OF COMMUNITY SPIRIT?  THEN JOIN YOUR NEIGHBORS AND HELP MAKE A DIFFERENCE.

We’re looking to significantly increase our Adopt a Hole Force this year – increasing our team size to 5 volunteers per hole to improve efficiency and consistency. By adopting a hole, you will become a crucial part of the golfing community, providing ongoing support for the golf course and helping players have the best golfing experience possible.

There are 4 primary goals for this program to best assist and work cohesively with our Golf Superintendent and Maintenance Crew:

Weeding Wednesdays!

Weeding Wednesdays began in 2024 when neighbors were interested in pulling noxious weeds around the golf course. This evolved to include removing all weeds from the clubhouse, adding mulch, and trimming shrubs and trees. A few of us filled and maintained the garden pots on the clubhouse deck and planted 100 daffodil bulbs at the entrance to the club.

We are currently scheduling projects for 2025. We typically schedule golf course projects on Wednesday mornings, when the golf course is closed until 10:00 a.m. For more information, contact Susan at esc2bend@gmail.com, with “Weeding” in the subject line

We have invested in a number of upgrades over the past year but the condition of our tees and greens is critical to making River’s Edge the best, local, and public golf course in Bend.

Not looking for a steady gig? We do projects all the time and always need volunteers to help. If you are interested let us know.

Make a difference today by joining the Adopt a Hole team! Questions? Send an email to lori@riversedgegolfbend.com.
