Stuart Allison – Director of Instruction

 Stuart’s deep passion for golf and extensive experience as a teaching professional make him the ideal mentor to guide you on your journey toward improvement. Stuart’s personalized approach to instruction caters to golfers of all levels.

Mike is an independent Director of Instruction based in Bend, Oregon.  Originally hailing from Utah, Michael has dedicated his entire career to mastering the art and science of golf instruction as the Director of Instruction at the Nicklas Academy and Tetherow Golf Club.  As a Class ‘A’ PGA Professional, Michael’s expertise and passion for teaching have earned him esteemed recognition. In 1999, he was elected for membership in the PGA, and just six years later, he was named the 2005 Utah Section Teacher of the Year while still working in golf operations.  Michael’s passion for teaching extends beyond his personal business endeavors. He is also a Master Instructor for the Patriot Golf Foundation, dedicating his time to hosting military veterans for golf school outings

Golf Simulator

Discover the excitement of playing golf in a realistic environment, even when winter weather threatens to keep you off the course, at River’s Edge Golf Course.

We are excited to announce the arrival of the Foresight GC Four Quad simulator, which offers our valued guests and annual pass holders an incredible opportunity to work on their golf skills all year long. With instant feedback and a setting that accurately replicates the challenges of real golf courses, our climate-controlled facility ensures an immersive and lifelike golfing experience.

It is open 9AM – 6PM Thursday – Monday, and closed on Tuesday and Wednesday.   On Thursday nights the simulator is part  of Thursday Night Football at the Edge Bar and Cafe.

The Simulator is also available for one-on-one and group golf instruction from Mike Lewis.  

Pricing

• Single Player – ($25 per hour)
• Two or more players – ($20/Person per hour)
• Four or more players – ($80 per hour)
• Active River’s Edge annual pass holders receive a 10% percent discount.
• A maximum of three hours can be booked per day
• Simulator booking can be made up to 7 days in advance.
